Michael Shave MA, Ed.S
Michael’s professional training began at the University of Vermont, where he earned a BA in Psychology. At UVM, Michael was actively engaged in numerous research projects involving learning and cognition. These experiences inspired Michael to pursue an MA degree from the Department of Professional Psychology and Family Therapy at Seton Hall University. In 2001, he was inducted into an international honor society in recognition of his professional fellowship and academic achievement. Michael continued his graduate studies at Seton Hall University in the School Psychology Program.
Michael’s clinical experiences have included three years as a behavioral interventionist with a school based program for students identified as severely emotionally disturbed. This was followed by three years as a therapist in a child and adolescent partial hospitalization program. Michael has been a School Psychologist in a public school district in Northern New Jersey for the past eleven years. He has guided students, teachers and parents in helping young people achieve their goals and work to their potential.

Michael has dedicated his professional life to working with children and adolescents. He is a skilled clinician who has effectively promoted positive changes in students and families for many years.
Michael spends his free time with the love of his life, Sarah, and his two children, Jenna and Adam. He enjoys skiing, running and coaching little league.
