Jane P. Kimmel, BBA
Jane is a graduate of Emory University where she earned a BBA in Business Administration.
Jane has been an active mentor with NJSEEDS College Preparatory Program. This work involves collaborating with juniors in teaching the executive skills, including organization, time-management, study skills, and overall, facilitating the know-how to successfully maneuver through school and life.
During the senior year, students are lead through the college application process involving, but not limited to, researching and formulating college/university lists, visiting campuses, assisting with the Common Application, essay writing, over-seeing interviews, developing resumes, and helping to analyze financial considerations. During the college years, communication and support are continued to further ensure advancement and success.
Jane’s strength is compassionate perseverance in working with students of any age. She is eager to figure out exactly what support is needed, and then she goes to work. Her organizational skills are exceptional assets in helping guide students with
their approach to their studies and in their quest to manage their materials. She can “hear” what a student is really struggling with and figure out how to solve the frustruation.
Jane has served on many leadership committees, including the Boards of the Newark Academy Parents Association and Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel. She was honored to be asked to be the Parent Representative on the Search Committee for the Lower School Head of Newark Academy.
Jane’s life is focused on family first. She loves the outdoors, her early morning boot camp, and cooking and sharing meals with friends. Jane is the “go-to” person for family and friends when assistance is needed with organizing projects and moves and solving life’s dilemmas.
