Theresa V. Fallon, M.A. 

Theresa earned both her BA in Sociology and MA in Counseling from Montclair State University. 


She has worked in numerous roles supporting the positive development of children. Theresa began her career with Head Start, a federally funded preschool program serving children from low-income backgrounds, where she was first a classroom teacher, and later oversaw partnerships with community organizations. Within each of her roles, Theresa worked one-on-one with parents to develop educational goals and strategies for their children. Through this work, she gained invaluable experience assisting children with disabilities or challenging classroom behaviors.

 

Theresa currently works with students in the 4th and 5th grades. Her patience, positive attitude, and sense of humor help children develop and practice essential organizational skills. She inspires and guides students to take risks in their learning, make positive choices, and advocate for themselves. Theresa aims for each of her students to find their unique talents and builds upon their strengths so that they are willing to do the work required in learning. Most importantly, she wants her students to experience the joy of learning.

Theresa lives in Morristown, NJ with her two Labrador Retrievers. She is the mother of three happy and productive adult children,. She enjoys gardening, hiking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite place to be is the beach.
